Is responsible for designing and developing an IT and digitalization functional strategy in line with organization objectives. The position holder will define the optimization of existing and future processes and integrate new functions into the IT landscape.

In your role you will

  • Design and develop an IT and digitalization functional strategy and implement it in order to support MSF Germany vision and long-term development
  • Review the infrastructure, the configuration, and the maturity level of IT security to safeguard the organization’s data
  • Identify the set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and departmental/teams’ boundaries
  • Manage an efficient implementation of the IT organization’s directions and priorities, ensuring the achievement of the planned annual objectives
  • Identify and fill the gap between MSF Germany IT landscape and available information technology systems in the market in order to improve tools and systems used by employees
  • Initiate change and maintain an integral and coherent Information and Communication Technology policies at MSF Germany, while developing new guidelines and protocols
  • Review IT processes, define objectives and identify improvements and guide the discussion related to the organisation’s requirements
  • Lead the development and update of the annual budget of IT in collaboration with all IT units at MSF Germany

You Have

  • Successfully completed studies in business informatics, (business) engineering, computer science or a comparable academic degree
  • At least three years of professional experience in leading challenging IT and digitalisation projects
  • Innovative approach and an understanding on how digitalisation will improve efficiency in a non profit organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, planning and project management
  • Sound experience in leadership roles and stakeholder management
  • Fluent in English and German

  • Payment according to a transparent internal salary structure; in this position according to group 6 with full-time employment (40h/week) from 4.380 Euro to a maximum of 5.543 Euro, depending on the relevant professional experience
